Prestashop module "Customer Files Upload" main features:

For your shop customers:

• You can allow to upload files only for logged customers
• Customers can upload files to product on product pages (new!)
• Customers can upload files to cart on cart page (new!)
• Customers can upload files to their order placed in your shop
• Customers can manage own files
• Customers can upload any file from own hard disc drive
• Customers can add own file title
• Customers can add own file description
• Customers can upload as many files as they want (new!)
• Customers can download uploaded files (new!)
• Customers can download files uploaded by admin (new!)
• Upload form for customers is based on multiupload feature. What does it mean? It mean that your customers can upload many files at one time - they dont have to upload each file separately. Feature is based on HTML5! (new!)
• Preview of uploaded images (thumbnails) - you can enable or disable this feature

"AJAX Upload" mode

1. drag'n'drop feature for uploading files
2. multiple files uploader
3. upload progress bar for each file dropped to ajax upload field

Number of files restriction

You can specify how many files your customers can upload, it means that you can select option to:

- allow to upload as many files as customer want

- allow to upload number of files which is equal to number of products in cart

- allow to upload specified by you number of files for whole order

- you can force customers to upload files, if customer will not upload any file - module will block possibility to place an order in the shop

- you can force customers to upload as much files, as much products customer will have in cart (quantity of files equal to quantity of products in cart)

Control the quantity of product

• Module has feature that allows to control quantity of products in cart
• When option to control quantity will be active, module will:
  • Count number of uploaded files to product (files associated with product that customer has in cart)
  • If number of files will be different than product quantity - module will automatically change quantity of this item to value equal to number of files uploaded to this product

For shop administrator

• You can define on what products upload form will appear
• You can exclude upload form from selected product pages
• Shop administrator is able to manage uploaded files exactly from order list
• Shop administrator has got access to latest files uploaded by customers
• Shop administrator is able to download any file uploaded by customer
• Shop administrator is able to delete any file uploaded by customer
• Shop administrator has got an access to file name
• Shop administrator has got an access to file description
• You can define allowed file types (extensions) to upload
• You can upload own file to each order (customers will have got possibility to download these files!)
• As a shop admin you can enable or disable green download button that appears on orders list in back office
• Possibility to lock uploaded files. Locked files can't be deleted and edited by customers
• preview uploaded images as a thumbnails

Comments feature

From version 2.3.6 module has option to accept / decline files uploaded by admin / customers. In addition customer or admin can add explanations in special comment form.

Email notifications

Module allows to turn on email notifications - you can define what kind of emails module will send, you can enable or disable:

- email notification for shop owner when customer will upload file to order

- email notification for shop owner when customer will upload file to own account

- email notification to customer if shop owner will upload file to order made by customer

- email notification to customer if shop owner will upload file to customer account

- email notification to customer when admin will comment the file

- email notification to admin when customer will comment the file

- you can attach uploaded files to email messages to customers
